The University of California, Riverside is seeking a Network Administrator for its School of Medicine IT team. The role involves managing wired and wireless networks, ensuring expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancing solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with teams to ensure seamless infrastructure implementations and provide IT support.
This is a full-time onsite position based at the Main Campus, with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. Applicants must have current work authorization as UCR does not provide visa sponsorship.
Network Administrator
The Network Administrator is a member of the School of Medicine IT team. They are responsible for managing wired and wireless networks, installing and configuring all network equipment, and maintaining expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancing solutions. The incumbent works closely with all teams to ensure seamless delivery of infrastructure implementations and serves as a line of support for the IT SOM team, providing timely troubleshooting and diagnosing incident/problem resolution.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. UCR cannot sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship.
