Job summary

Orgro is seeking a Network Administrator to maintain, secure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure in a DoD-focused environment.

You will configure and monitor wired and wireless networks, apply security controls, and support upgrades and documentation to ensure reliable operations for national defense missions.

Qualifications

  • Experience administering enterprise network environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, security principles, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting secure or DoD environments.
  • Active Secret security clearance or higher.

  • Maintain, secure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure in a mission-critical environment.
  • Configure, administer, and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot connectivity or system problems, and ensure security controls.
  • Support upgrades, modernization, and technology refresh efforts.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and change management.

As part of our team supporting Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (SURFLANT), you'll play a critical role in maintaining the secure, reliable, and high-performing network infrastructure that enables mission success. Your expertise will directly contribute to the operational readiness of the U.S. Navy by ensuring secure communications and dependable connectivity in a highly secure environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As the Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure in a mission-critical environment.

  • Configure, administer, and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and quickly troubleshoot connectivity or system problems.
  • Implement and maintain network security controls to meet compliance and system authorization requirements.
  • Support network upgrades, modernization initiatives, and technology refresh efforts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, procedures, and change management.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, cybersecurity personnel, and program stakeholders to ensure reliable network operations.
  • Ensure the availability, integrity, and security of network services supporting daily operations.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, mission-focused mindset.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience administering enterprise network environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, security principles, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting secure or Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
  • Active Secret security clearance or higher.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting U.S. Navy or other military operational environments.
  • Experience with enterprise network monitoring and management tools.
  • Knowledge of Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and system authorization requirements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
