SanMar- External is seeking a Network Administrator to support enterprise LAN/WAN environments across multiple sites. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues, configure and deploy switches, routing, and wireless infrastructure, and collaborate with Network Engineers on design and capacity planning.

The role requires CCNA, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own operational responsibility for enterprise LAN/WAN environments across multiple sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues involving switches, routing, wireless, and connectivity services; configure and deploy network equipment.
• Manage hardware/software problems, including installation, upgrade, repair, and removal.
• Serve as escalation resource for Network Infrastructure Support Tickets and interface with Service Desk.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, wireless APs, and edge connectivity.
• Collaborate with Network Engineers on design, capacity planning, and refresh initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, performance, and efficiency.
• Turn up/turn down ethernet ports for internal customers and engineers.
• Maintain inventory levels and create/update network documentation and maps.
• Respond to outages per SLAs and participate in after-hours support and change approvals.

What’s the Short Version?

The Network Administrator supports the Network Operations team with projects, network maintenance, device configurations and implementations. They perform administrative tasks at headquarters and support services across Distribution Centers nationwide.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Own operational responsibility for enterprise LAN/WAN environments across multiple sites.
• Independently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues involving switches, routing, wireless, and connectivity services. Configure and deploy network equipment.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions to hardware and software problems; install, upgrade, repair, and remove hardware and software.
• Responsible for Network Infrastructure Support Tickets; is an escalation resource for the Service Desk and further escalates tickets as required.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, wireless access points, and edge connectivity.
• Partner with Network Engineers on network design, capacity planning, and infrastructure refresh initiatives.
• Actively identify opportunities to improve network reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Assist with network-related projects and tasks.
• Turn up/turn down ethernet ports as requested by SanMar internal customers and Network Engineers.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels and troubleshoot network issues.
• Create and maintain documentation relating to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
• Modify and build physical and logical network maps.
• Respond to network outages/impacts according to the set Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Perform after-hours network support during scheduled and unscheduled outages and standard patching requirements.
• Seek approval for all work related to business-impacting IT systems through established change approval processes.
• Make physical visits to remote locations for infrastructure refreshes or support.
• Participate in compliance activities.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of Network Support experience in an enterprise environment
• Experience supporting multi site or distributed network environments
• Strong hands on experience with Cisco switching platforms and CLI
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• A Self Starter with a positive attitude and a passion for learning networking technologies
• Able to quickly respond to service impacts; possess a strong troubleshooting acumen
• A proactive approach to daily work, able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Demonstrated strength in communication with the ability to convey technical subject matter to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface daily with internal customers

• Strong planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to shift from one task to another in an agile work environment

What’s Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $85,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience.

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: SanMar’s Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Periodic travel may be required. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment is required. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching may be needed to attend meetings or collaborate in an office setting. The role requires the ability to perform close visual work on a computer for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10–15 pounds.
