Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Network Admin at Fort Bragg to install, operate and maintain network infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and support enterprise IT services for government agencies.

Candidates should have 3+ years of related experience, an Associate degree or equivalent, a TS/SCI clearance, and Security+ (or DoD 8570) certification, with on-site work at a customer site.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current knowledge of relevant technology.
• Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 certification required.
• Must closely follow network protocols and methodology.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing support for the functionality and efficiency of computer systems and networks
• Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks
• Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability
• Trains users, maintains, creates and deletes user accounts
• Develops and enhances processes and technical documentation, creates back-up procedures, test plans, and reports

HOW A NETWORK ADMIN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The likely salary range for this position is $76,565 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
