Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Network Administration experience.
• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• BA/BS degree – may substitute additional years of experience.
• Must possess a current CCNA certification.
• Must meet DOW 8140 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access; ITIL V4 Foundation within six months.
• Knowledge of routing/switching protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, ISAKMP, ESP, SIP, SCCP).
• Knowledge of HAIPE encryption devices and Cisco IOS features.
• Ability to configure/troubleshoot DMVPN and GRE tunnels, IPsec, and Cisco VoIP with CUCM.
• Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Work with senior team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Assists Engineers with designs and defines network architecture for new or existing computer systems.
• Assists with network development and design work.
• Participate in the upgrading of operating systems and design of network enhancements.
• Provides input for documentation on new or existing networks.
• Conduct tests to ensure networks meet documented user requirements.
• Assists with identification, analyzes, and resolving network problems.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Network Administration experience.
• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• BA/BS degree – may substitute additional years of experience.
• Must possess a current CCNA certification.
• Must meet DOW 8140 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges and must obtain ITIL V4 Foundation within six months of hire. Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.
• Knowledge and experience with routing and switching protocols (e.g. OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, Spanning Tree Protocol, ISAKMP, ESP, SIP, SCCP, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience with HAIPE-based encryption devices and management suite.
• Knowledge and experience with current Cisco IOS software and hardware features.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches IAW DISA STIGs.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot DMVPN and GRE tunnels, including IPsec integration.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot Cisco VoIP utilizing basic CUCM functions.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while still ensuring high quality of work.

Must achieve and maintain the Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) as defined in the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) between the United States and the Federal Republic of Germany. In order to qualify for TESA, the candidate must have one of the following: Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of specialized experience, OR an Associate's degree plus 7 years of specialized experience, OR A major certification plus 7 years of specialized experience, OR; 11 years of specialized experience.

• Completed CCNP Routing and Switching or CCNP
• Knowledge and experience with VoIP/VTC collaboration systems
