Menards Inc. in Eau Claire, WI, seeks a part-time Network Administrator Intern to assist in day-to-day administration of Menards’ network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wireless).

This role requires 15-20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., in a secure, mission-critical environment with occasional travel to remote offices during the summer. The intern will work with Network Administrators and Team Leads on installation, configuration, and testing of multi-vendor equipment, gaining

Qualifications

• Attending school for an Associate or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Networking or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in networking or computers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to travel to remote offices in summer as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide low-level network administration services.
• Monitor network health and report incidents.
• Assist in configuration and installation of Network Architecture.
• Support IS staff and coordinate with vendors.
• Ensure SLA compliance and test changes before deployment.
