Job summary

Bigbelly seeks a Senior Mechanical Buyer to coordinate direct materials sourcing at our Lawrence/Methuen, MA facility. You will manage high-value mechanical commodities, lead supplier negotiations, and ensure on-time delivery.

On-site procurement expert will leverage NetSuite ERP to track orders, analyze requirements, and maintain master data for active lines. Sheet-metal and plastic molding experience is a plus, with strong ERP skills essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Mandatory NetSuite ERP experience for inventory management, procurement workflows and material tracking.
• On-site work 100% at Methuen, MA facility in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to synthesize data.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders for direct mechanical components and raw materials based on demand.
• Lead supplier negotiations and establish long-term pricing agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage onboarding of supply partners.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to resolve delivery/quality issues.
• Review drawings and BOMs to assess capability and quoting accuracy.
