Job summary

MAAC is seeking an Accounting Systems Analyst in Chula Vista, CA to manage NetSuite and accounting operations for nonprofit programs. The role combines GAAP accounting with ownership of the financial system to ensure accurate data for decision-making.

The analyst will partner with Finance, program leaders, IT, and vendors to maintain GL integrity, support funder compliance, and enhance financial processes. Experience in NetSuite and advanced Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience including month-end close and financial reporting.
• 1+ year of NetSuite experience; preferred administration experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with complex financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of revenues, expenditures, and program funds in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare projections and budget analyses; assist with audits.
• Configure NetSuite, manage user roles, and ensure data security.
• Develop saved searches, reports, and dashboards for budget-to-actual visibility.
• Collaborate with finance, program leaders, IT, and vendors to improve financial processes.
