Job summary

EDB is hiring a NetSuite Developer cum Administrator to own, extend and automate NetSuite environments. The role is hybrid with ~60% development and 40% administration, focusing on SuiteScript customizations, integrations, workflow automation, and AI-enabled features across Finance, Sales, Operations and Support.

You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, AI‑driven solutions, and you will use AI tools in both how you build and what you build.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on NetSuite experience in admin and developer role.
• Strong SuiteScript 2.x, debugging and governance
• Experience with REST/SOAP, SuiteTalk and integrations
• AI experience with prompts and AI tooling in NetSuite

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy SuiteScript 2.x solutions (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet and Workflow Action scripts).
• Build and maintain SuiteFlow workflows, custom records, forms, fields and saved searches.
• Develop SuiteTalk (SOAP and REST) and RESTlet integrations between NetSuite and CRM, banking and other data platforms.
• Write clean, documented, version-controlled code and follow SDF deployment practices.
• Identify and deliver AI use cases in NetSuite (invoicing, data extraction, classification, forecasting, NL reporting).
• Integrate LLM APIs and NetSuite's N/llm module into scripts/workflows with proper prompts and logging.
• Use AI coding assistants to speed development, code review and test creation.
• Evaluate AI features and third-party AI tools for fit, cost, security and data privacy.
• Manage users, roles, permissions, subsidiaries and reporting governance.
• Maintain sandbox/production, release management and biannual NetSuite release testing.
• Monitor script performance, governance limits and data quality; resolve issues quickly.
• Support month-end close, SOX compliance with accurate configuration and documentation.
• Gather requirements from Finance/Sales/Ops and translate into designs.
• Provide tier-3 support, user training and documentation.
• Mentor junior admins and contribute to NetSuite roadmap.
