Job summary

Activate Talent, LLC is seeking a highly hands-on NetSuite Administrator to own the performance, reliability, and optimisation of NetSuite and its connected systems across Finance, Operations, E-commerce, and Warehouse teams.

The role focuses on Celigo integrations, Shopify, Faire, ShipHero, NetSuite workflows, scripts, automations, and proactive system troubleshooting to support rapid e-commerce growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on NetSuite administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite configuration, workflows, scripts, and customisations.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with Shopify.
• Strong troubleshooting, data mapping, and API knowledge.
• Experience with SuiteScript and SuiteFlow.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day NetSuite administration, performance, and optimisation.
• Complete and maintain the Celigo integration between NetSuite, Shopify DTC, and Faire.
• Ensure orders flow correctly from sales channels through to the warehouse and that fulfilment, tracking, and financial information sync back accurately.
• Lead the migration from ShipStation to ShipHero across relevant order types and fulfilment workflows.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, sync errors, data discrepancies, and system performance issues.
• Audit and optimise NetSuite scripts and workflows on an ongoing basis.
• Develop and deploy new workflows, automations, scripts, and system improvements.
• Monitor integration health and proactively identify potential failures or bottlenecks.
• Manage NetSuite support tickets and resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and E-commerce teams to understand system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Manage NetSuite roles, permissions, configurations, saved searches, workflows, and customisations.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and system/process documentation.
• Train and support the Junior NetSuite Administrator and ensure appropriate backup coverage.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure changes are properly tested, documented, and communicated before deployment.
• Support broader e-commerce initiatives by ensuring backend systems can support improvements in conversion, AOV, RPV, and overall customer experience.

Job description

We are looking for a highly hands-on NetSuite Administrator to own the performance, scalability, reliability, and optimisation of NetSuite and its connected systems.

This person will serve as a key technical partner across Finance, Operations, E-commerce, and Warehouse teams, ensuring that orders, fulfilment, inventory, and financial data move reliably between systems.

The role will have significant ownership over Celigo integrations, Shopify, Faire, ShipHero, NetSuite workflows, scripts, automations, and system troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically strong, and comfortable identifying problems before they become business-critical.

A major focus will be ensuring the brand can scale its e-commerce and operational infrastructure without introducing system bottlenecks or data-quality issues.

Duties and responsibilities:

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite Administration experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of NetSuite configuration, workflows, scripts, and customisations.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with Shopify.
• Experience with ShipHero, ShipStation, or comparable warehouse/order management platforms.
• Experience with Faire or other wholesale/e-commerce marketplaces is a plus.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data mapping, and system troubleshooting.
• Experience with SuiteScript and SuiteFlow.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple integrations and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly proactive and comfortable taking full ownership of system issues.
• Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior technical team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth e-commerce environment.

SUCCESS IN THE ROLE:

The person in this role should be able to deliver against the following key outcomes:

• 100% order flow reliability between NetSuite, Shopify DTC, Faire, and the warehouse.
• Successfully complete the ShipHero migration with fulfilment and tracking syncing correctly.
• Optimise 4+ NetSuite scripts/workflows per month with measurable impact.
• Maintain approximately 99.9% uptime across NetSuite-integrated systems.
• Keep integration errors to ≤5 per month.
• Maintain an average NetSuite ticket resolution time of under 48 hours.
• Launch at least one new workflow or automation per quarter.Establish full backup readiness and successfully train the Junior NetSuite Administrator.
