Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Global Information Systems Group. The role focuses on DLP and Netskope, with responsibilities to architect, implement, and optimize the Netskope platform while supporting security reviews for new architectures and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in an Information Security role.
• 2+ years developing, reviewing, and responding to DLP alerts.
• Professional certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or GMON are required.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the Netskope platform, including architecture, roadmap, design, implementation, and optimization.
• Analyze Lam Research business objectives and security strategy, and develop supporting DLP rules.
• Enforce data loss prevention policies across the company using technical preventative controls.
• Define, develop, and execute processes to update keywords in partnership with the Legal team.
• Identify gaps in controls, processes, and systems, and recommend solutions.
• Partner with GIS and the Incident Response team to tune content detection rules and improve accuracy.
• Work closely with SOC teams to improve alert fidelity and implement engineering fixes to reduce recurring issues.
• Support security investigations across various systems, either directly or through service providers, while maintaining confidentiality.
• Own the operationalization of tasks and provide guidance to the Operations team.
