Lam Research is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Global Information Systems Group in Fremont, CA. You will co-own the Netskope platform, implement DLP rules, and enforce data loss prevention policies across the company, while collaborating with Legal, SOC, and Incident Response teams.

The role requires a strong background in information security, DLP, and effective communication, with hybrid on-site and remote work options in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in Information Security.
• 2+ years developing, reviewing, and responding to DLP alerts.
• Professional certifications: Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or GMON.
• 5+ years in a security engineering role focusing on DLP.
• Hands-on Netskope DLP experience.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the Netskope platform, including architecture, roadmap, design, implementation, and optimization.
• Analyze Lam Research objectives and security strategy; develop DLP rules.
• Enforce data loss prevention policies with technical controls.
• Define and update keyword policies with Legal.
• Identify gaps in controls and propose solutions.
• Tune content detection rules with SOC and Incident Response teams.
• Support investigations and guide Operations on DLP programs.
