Job summary

The Bison Group, LLC is seeking a Network Administrator in Colorado Springs to manage approved network changes, upgrade IOS on routers and switches, and maintain enterprise connectivity.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI poly, CCNA, and familiarity with Cisco and Juniper devices. You will draft SOPs, resolve incidents, and support new network projects across sites.

Qualifications

• IAT II certification required.
• CCNA certification required.
• TS/SCI clearance with CI poly ability.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x.
• KG-175 TACLANES configuration, fault isolation, firmware upgrades.
• Cisco ISE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct approved network changes including VLAN, ACL, and port assignment.
• Perform IOS upgrades to routers and switches.
• Upgrade routing/switching equipment to ensure enterprise operations.
• Draft SOPs for network operations.
• Resolve network failures and accessibility issues.
• Support site surveys and engineering data calls.
• Assist in new/enhanced network implementations and refresh projects.
• Work independently with supervision as needed.
• Research errors and perform incident analysis to identify problems.
• Perform network ticket resolution and closure.
