Production Support Specialist

Netflix is building the world’s most advanced studio, and we need to equip our production and media teams with cutting‑edge tools and support them in creating the best studio experience. As a Netflix Production Support Specialist, you will provide specialized remote support to a community of internal Netflix artists, producers, and media professionals using the Netflix Studio platform and tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote assistance to core production and media software usage, acting as an advocate for studio teams through troubleshooting challenges.
- Manage tickets, requests, and incidents from Studio Development clients; maintain high service levels and continuously seek improvements to the support experience.
- Engage in daily support activities and projects, including data analysis, bug triaging, client escalation handling, and escalation to second‑tier support.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, product, documentation, and research to ensure solutions are best in class and that knowledge is shared.
- Investigate client contact and reliability stresses within data and workflows that influence engineering efforts.
- Identify and document bugs; perform root‑cause analysis of impact on clients and products.
- Proactively propose process and product improvements to enhance client experience.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a technical support role with documentation, incident response, and client communication.
- Experience supporting small to medium‑sized organizations, familiar with Google Suite, Salesforce, cloud services, SaaS, and SSO‑based systems.
- Knowledge of encoding, data pipelines, and automated asset ingest specifications and size limits.
- Experience with support tooling such as Zendesk, JIRA, Connect (or similar).
- Experience supporting creatives with tools such as Aspera, Nuke, Shotgun, Flix, Maya, or related media/production software.
- Strong analytical skills to record incidents, analyze impact, and understand root causes.
- Excellent communication skills for remote support over phone, email, and desktop chat.
- Creative & collaborative mindset; ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills (Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
