Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) seeks a Field Technician III to inspect, test, and maintain high, medium, and low voltage electrical power equipment. You will work with SF6 breakers, pad mount transformers, grounding, and instrumentation, following safety policies and procedures.

Travel may be required and a pre-employment drug screen is required. EPS offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, training resources, 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety briefings on job site and mitigate hazards.
• Perform High/Medium/Low voltage testing as crew leader.
• Consult manuals and schematics to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Prepare and maintain reports detailing tests, repairs, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components.
• Be a leader in Safety Culture on site.
• Install, test and maintain electrical apparatus.
• Analyze results and understand testing theory.
