Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is a leading provider of electromechanical and power management solutions across North America. This role focuses on inspecting, testing, and maintaining high and medium voltage electrical systems up to 500kV, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant field experience, NETA certification or equivalent, and be willing to travel locally and overnight.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; technical training preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• NETA Certification or equivalent experience preferred
• OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training is a plus

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data collection of HV/LV electrical systems up to 500kV.
• Perform instrument transformer tests and power transformer testing (Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance).
• Test electro-mechanical and solid state relays; cable testing (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot).
• Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches; test switchgear and circuit breakers.
• Maintain safety standards; communicate findings; travel locally and overnight as needed.
