Job summary

RMS Energy Co, LLC is seeking a NETA Field Service Technician to inspect, test, and maintain LV/MV systems up to 15kV in our field teams. You will lead field crews, perform startup/commissioning, and document activities with company software.

Candidate should have 5+ years in power plants or electrical field services, plus relay/meter testing experience and proficiency with MS Office. Travel 70%+ and a strong safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in power plants, electrical field services, or industrial power distribution.
• Experience with relay and meter testing is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain, and repair LV and MV systems up to 15kV.
• Test and troubleshoot circuit breakers, transformers, motor controllers, MV cables, and switchgear.
• Start-up and commission power systems in the field; support design upgrades.
• Lead and supervise field crews; plan workflows and timelines.
• Produce accurate, detailed reports on maintenance, testing, and repairs.
• Follow strict safety and PPE protocols.
