Jsr Associates in Dallas, TX is seeking an Electrical Field Test Technician (NETA I–IV). You will test, inspect and maintain medium- and high-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, relays and cables at substations, industrial plants and data centers.

Across levels I–IV, there is a clear path to advance, with on-the-job training toward NETA certification. Expect travel 25–50%, per diem and hotel on the road, and relocation support for the right candidates.

Formación

• NETA certification I–IV or equivalent electrical testing experience.
• Experience with power factor or high-voltage testing.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read one-lines, schematics, and test procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Test, inspect and maintain medium- and high-voltage switchgear, breakers, transformers, relays and cables.
• Run HV test equipment including power-factor testing and insulation resistance checks.
• Commission new installations and verify energization readiness.
• Support planned outages and respond to emergency calls.
• Document test results clearly and flag issues before they become failures.
• Follow NFPA 70E and site safety practices on every job.
• Level III–IV: Lead jobsites, coordinate with customers, and mentor apprentices.
