Job summary

Amazon decarbonization has a leadership role for a Supply Chain Manager II in the GPO Environment. You will drive strategies to reduce embodied carbon and report progress across procurement categories and building projects.

You’ll lead cross-functional efforts, manage multiple initiatives, engage suppliers, and guide stakeholders on data-driven improvements to reach Net Zero Carbon objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience; Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL knowledge.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement decarbonization strategies across procurement categories.
• Provide technical information about embodied carbon reductions for procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify cost-effective sustainability improvements in construction and operations.
• Educate suppliers and internal teams about Amazon’s sustainability goals.
• Support carbon reporting and NZC design projects.
• Manage multiple complex projects concurrently and build external/internal relationships.
• Assist in procuring materials with low-carbon content and reporting.
• Develop contract terms for low-carbon building materials.
