Job summary

Sigma Earth is seeking a program manager to drive carbon reduction initiatives across procurement and construction. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and leverage data to guide improvements toward Net Zero goals.

Responsibilities include guiding suppliers, defining requirements, and reporting progress, while building strong stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment. This role is based in the United States in New Jersey.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with both technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing process improvements using data and performance metrics.
  • At least 2+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data-driven insights to drive improvements.

  • Provide technical guidance to Category Managers on embodied carbon reduction opportunities within specific procurement categories.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify cost-effective approaches for improving sustainability in the design, construction, and operation of Amazon buildings.
  • Educate suppliers, stakeholders, and category teams on Amazon's sustainability and carbon reduction objectives.
  • Support Category Managers in implementing carbon reporting requirements across GPO procurement categories.
  • Manage multiple complex and concurrent projects effectively from initiation to delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external suppliers, and strategic partners.
  • Support Net Zero Carbon (NZC) design initiatives across construction and procurement activities.
  • Assist in sourcing bill of materials and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for bids and new construction projects.
  • Contribute to developing contract requirements for low-carbon building materials such as recycled steel, low-carbon concrete, and other sustainable materials.
