Job summary

Experis Technology Group is seeking a Software Engineer (.Net / Azure) to join a remote team based in Redmond, WA. The role focuses on Tier 3 production support for critical industrial control and telemetry solutions, with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting, deployment, and data management.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL, C#, and .NET skills, plus experience with Microsoft stack components like IIS, SQL Server, SSRS, AD, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• SQL experience is required.
• C#/.NET experience is required.
• Familiarity with IIS, SQL Server, SSRS and AD is expected.
• Experience supporting production incidents and on-call rotations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 production support for first-party systems.
• Restore services and troubleshoot across application, connectivity, deployment, and dependencies.
• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments including HA/DR and security.
• Develop and maintain C#/.NET applications, services, and APIs; work with data models and reporting tools.
• Create and maintain runbooks, guides, and operational procedures to ensure fast recovery.

Job Title: Software Engineer (.Net / Azure)

Location: Redmond, WA (REMOTE)

Pay Range: $48

What's the Job?

Provide Tier 3 production support for first-party industrial control, telemetry, credential management, and datacenter operations solutions. Restore services and troubleshoot issues across application, connectivity, alarming, authentication, configuration, networking, deployment, upgrades, and dependencies. Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments, including performance tuning, high availability/disaster recovery, backup and recovery, and database security. Maintain and troubleshoot C#/.NET applications, services, APIs, integrations, T-SQL objects, data models, and reporting tools. Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, deployment checklists, operating procedures, and known-issue records to support consistent service recovery.

What's Needed?

• SQL experience (must-have hard skill).
• C# experience (must-have hard skill).
• .NET experience (must-have hard skill).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as IIS, SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, SQL clustering, Active Directory, and Outlook.
• Strong Windows operating system knowledge and experience supporting production incidents, including communication across engineering and operations teams and participation in an on-call rotation when required.
