Ascensus is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications using C# and ASP.NET. You will create customized extensions for content capture and modernize legacy VB6 systems to .NET 4.5+ in a collaborative, agile environment.

The role emphasizes high-quality code, automation, and rapid delivery through CI/CD, with cross-functional teamwork across DevOps, QA, and support functions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development in .NET environments.
• Experience with migrating VB6 or legacy apps to .NET 4.5+.
• Hands-on work with content capture systems like Kofax Capture is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable .NET applications using C# and ASP.NET.
• Develop extensions for content capture and document processing systems.
• Modernize legacy components and migrate VB6 to .NET 4.5+.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and support teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Apply CI/CD, automation, and design patterns for reliable delivery.
• Contribute to SDLC activities from requirements to deployment.
