Job summary

Troy Web Consulting in Cohoes, NY, is seeking a .NET Software Engineer to build and deploy cloud/web/mobile software using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Azure. You will design, develop, test, and maintain client projects in a collaborative, agile team environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of modern Microsoft stack experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work hybrid onsite in Cohoes with occasional visits; remote options considered for EST-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 2-5 years of software development on Microsoft stack (C#, ASP.NET Core, Razor, Blazor, Web APIs, .NET 8/9).
• Experience building new solutions from ground up and modern architectures.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate workflows.
• Experience with RESTful and/or gRPC APIs, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy client software across cloud/web/mobile platforms.
• Work on microservices, clean architecture, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with customers and teammates to solve business problems.
• Lead and mentor team members, perform code reviews and ensure quality.
• Apply AI tooling responsibly within the SDLC.
