General Summary

The Florida Senate Office of Information Technology is hiring .NET Software Developers to help build and support modern applications used across the Senate organization. Our team develops internal systems using technologies such as .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps in a collaborative development environment focused on delivering practical solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or engineering and two years of progressively responsible information systems experience.

Progressively responsible information systems experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education. Any combination of progressively responsible information systems experience and post-secondary training in disciplines as described above totaling six years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ASP.NET Core or modern .NET development
• Experience with Angular or similar frameworks (React, Blazor)
• Experience developing REST APIs and data-driven applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools such as Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments

Candidates who do not meet every preferred qualification but have relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Anticipated hiring salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on qualifications and level of experience.
