Olivine, Inc. is hiring a remote software developer to help build our cloud-based DER and grid services platform.

You’ll work with C#/.NET, Azure, and modern front-end tech (React, Razor, ASP.NET MVC) to deliver scalable solutions and robust integrations (REST APIs, SFTP). You’ll join a small, growing team focused on impact and quality, with a rigorous screening process and in-person final interview location to be determined.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET and cloud environments.
• Experience with React, Razor, and ASP.NET MVC frontend tech.
• Proficient with SQL databases and ORM (Entity Framework).
• Experience with REST APIs and SFTP integrations.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

We’d like you to join our team as a remote employee developing our software components running in a cloud environment. Olivine has a development environment utilizing Windows, .NET, and Azure. You keep abreast of changes to the .NET universe and are involved in .NET communities. Your experience developing scalable web solutions is important.Knowing the difference between a kilowatt and a kilowatt-hour is a plus!If you are motivated and eager to work in a small and growing company with a dynamic group of people and if you want to make a real impact using the latest technologies to build things, this is a great opportunity for you!We’re unable to sponsor and seek only USA based candidates at this time.This is a remote role for a remote-experienced developer.We conduct a rigorous screening process including a background screen, identity verification and technical and fit interviews.The final interview will be in person with location to be determined.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in C#, and .NETExperienced with front-end technologies, specifically React, Razor, ASP.Net MVC
• Experienced with SQL databases and ORM (preferably Entity Framework)Experienced with complex integrations using technologies like REST APIs and SFTPYou work independently to solve complex problems with limited supervision.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to the evolving processes and growth in the organization.
• You write clear, concise, and accurate technical material.
• You communicate effectively and work cooperatively both internally and with external customers.
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

How to Stand Out

• You have strong DevOps and CI/CD skills and knowledge for cloud-based environments, and particularly the Azure ecosystem.
• Knowledge of the distributed energy resource domain:including technologies and applications such as solar PVbattery storageelectric vehicle smart charging and grid integrationdemand response strategies, or similar.
• Experience in the electric energy industry writing software.

• Participate in the design and development of core components and criticalfunctionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high quality standards
• Contribute to the evolution and refinement of development processes andstandards
• Collaborate with internal team members on feature development (ranging from requirements refinement and coordinating testing to communicating status updates)
• Work with outside vendors on systems integration projects

Compensation: Base Salary not inclusive of bonus, benefits or equity, 85,000-120,000 USD
