Job summary

Geographic Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Programmer/Analyst IV responsible for supporting the company's Virtual OneStop software solution. This role includes application design, troubleshooting, and mentoring within an Agile team setting. Candidates should be prepared for onsite work at least two days per week in Palm Harbor, Florida.

The ideal applicant has 7-10 years of ASP.NET experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Additional experience with migration to .NET and familiarity with various JavaScript libraries is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of ASP.NET programming experience required.
• Experience with WCF/REST Services, Web API, and Mobile development is a plus.
• Experience writing and debugging ASP.NET Web Form applications.

Job Summary
The Programmer/Analyst IV will be responsible for a variety of duties in support of the Company's Virtual OneStop (VOS) software solution. The Programmer/Analyst IV will work closely with other team members in an Agile environment who have responsibility for prompt and timely delivery of new development, maintenance incidents, configuration tasks, setup tasks, responding to customer questions, data change requests, and other duties as assigned by the Team Lead. Viable candidates must be willing to work onsite a minimum of 2-days per week at the headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs work independently under minimal supervision
• Maintain web applications
• Design and build applications using Microsoft .NET Technologies
• Migrate internally developed applications to latest Microsoft .NET Technologies
• Troubleshoot and debug development and production issues
• Perform tests to find system/software defects
• Follow design specs
• Applying best practices
• Read specifications and design software solutions

Work Experience / Knowledge

• Experience with migrating legacy applications to .NET Platform
• Experience writing and debugging ASP.NET Web Form applications
• Experience using Team Foundation Server
• Experience with JavaScript, JavaScript libraries: JQuery, Bootstrap, Mustache, AngularJS is a plus
• Experience with WCF/REST Services, Web API, and Mobile development is a plus
