VDOT is seeking a .Net Programmer Analyst to support the modernization of an enterprise tolling transaction platform undergoing a partial rewrite using microservices and modularization. The developer will work within an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to the development of backend services and application components using .NET Core and C#. This role collaborates with solution architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers, and testers and reports to the Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core backend services and APIs.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Familiarity with domain-driven design and microservices.
• Experience with distributed systems or high-availability environments.
• Understanding of tolling or transportation systems (preferred but not required).
