Job summary

Ampcus, Inc seeks an experienced .NET Programmer Analyst to support modernization of a large-scale enterprise platform in Mechanicsville, VA. You will design and develop backend services with .NET Core and C#, building REST APIs and microservices within an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, database developers, API teams, and QA, while integrating with Azure and ETL pipelines. Hybrid work and US residency are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with .NET Core and C# in enterprise apps.
• Strong track record building REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with SQL Server in Azure VM environments.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps or GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and solid OOP fundamentals.
• Familiarity with IaC, Terraform, and ETL tools is a plus.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to support the modernization of a large-scale enterprise transaction platform through microservices and modular architecture. The selected candidate will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, developing backend services using .NET Core and C#, while collaborating with architects, cloud engineers, database developers, API developers, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using .NET Core and C#.
• Build and enhance application features as part of a modernization initiative.
• Develop scalable microservices and modular application components.
• Collaborate with SQL developers to implement efficient data access solutions.
• Optimize application performance across multiple layers.
• Integrate applications with Azure cloud services and components.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum sprints.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development best practices.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with distributed systems and high-availability applications.
• Experience integrating backend systems with SSIS or Databricks ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of tolling or transportation systems is a plus.
