Job description

We are looking for an experienced .Net Developer to join our team and collaborate on projects within the reinsurance industry. We are seeking a passionate developer who thrives in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Develop Backend code, ensuring the implementation of high-quality features.

Maintain code integrity, quality, and organization, collaborating with the support team to resolve incidents when necessary.

Interact with the design team to implement features and manage user interactions with the application.

Collaborate with the rest of the team to design and launch new product features.

Work with Tech Leaders, suggesting improvements in the development processes.

Perform code reviews and approve pull requests from team members, ensuring quality and adherence to company standards.

Collaborate on the design and architecture of backend applications.

Contribute to the development of human capital by addressing queries and supporting team training. In some cases, support for the client may be required.

Work with the Innovation Department to help introduce and generate improvements in product development.

Participate in technical evaluations of candidates for the company, conducting interviews, and assisting in creating questionnaires or practical tests.

Occasionally maintain client communication and/or take on management responsibilities, helping to coordinate the development team’s work.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in backend development with .NET.

Strong experience with ASP.NET Core C#, REST APIs, authentication/authorization, and design patterns.

Proficient in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).

Experience with SQL databases - preferably SQL Server

Experience with NoSQL databases - preferably Cosmos DB or MongoDB.

Experience with Azure is highly preferred.

Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Advanced English, both written and spoken.

Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous learning and technology adaptation.

Nice to have

Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and Docker.

Experience with other databases (SQL or NoSQL) and cloud-based solutions.

Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools.
