Job summary

Switch Software is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our team in the reinsurance sector. You will develop backend features, ensure code quality, and collaborate across design, support, and innovation teams to deliver robust product enhancements.

Applicants should have 5+ years of backend experience with .NET, strong ASP.NET Core skills, and proficiency in REST APIs, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB or MongoDB. English language proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with .NET.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, REST APIs, authentication/authorization, and design patterns.
• Proficient in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Experience with SQL Server databases.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB or MongoDB).
• Azure experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend code and implement high-quality features.
• Maintain code integrity and collaborate with the support team to resolve incidents.
• Design and implement features with the design team for user interactions.
• Collaborate to design and launch new product features.
• Suggest process improvements with Tech Leaders.
