Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation in Richmond, VA seeks a .NET Software Developer to join a client’s application development team. This hands-on role focuses on deep C# coding and database work, supporting modernization, integrations with third-party vendors, and enhancements to existing systems.

You will design, develop, and maintain .NET applications, build RESTful APIs, and optimize Oracle SQL performance across backend services with occasional frontend work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a .NET Developer.
• Strong proficiency in C# (primary language).
• Experience working with .NET Framework 4.5+.
• Exposure to modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+) is strongly preferred.
• Solid experience with Oracle databases.
• Writing and maintaining complex stored procedures.
• SQL query analysis and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of backend business logic layers.
• Experience developing and consuming APIs.
• Comfortable working in environments without Entity Framework.
• Ability to read, understand, and improve large, existing codebases.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a .NET Software Developerto join a clients application development team due to increasing workload and ongoing initiatives. This role is intended to addadditional development capacityand will contribute across a range of projects, including enhancements to existing systems, integrations with third-party vendors, and modernization efforts.

This is ahands-on development role, ideal for someone who is a strong coder inC#, comfortable working deep in the database, and adaptable enough to support different parts of the application stack as priorities shift. While this role does not include formal leadership or architecture ownership, the developer should be capable of working independently, understanding complex systems, and contributing meaningfully to technical discussions.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Enhancements and maintenance ofbusiness-critical operational applications
