Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced .Net Developer for a 06+ months contract in Dallas, TX (Onsite). The role requires building cloud-native Azure apps and managing distributed microservices, AKS, and IaC.

Immediate need for a talented .Net Developer. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dallas, TX(Onsite).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed microservices architectures.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes using CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of applications through strong production support and troubleshooting skills.
• Interact with geographically distributed teams and vendor resources to meet project goals.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and .NET 8/10.
• Deep hands-on experience with Azure services including:
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Storage
• Azure Functions
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure Monitor / Application Insights
• Azure API Management
• Azure SQL Database
• Proven experience in building scalable, distributed microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Azure SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience implementing security best practices including OAuth, JWT, Managed Identities, and Key Vault.
• Hands-on Kafka experience including producer/consumer design and event troubleshooting.
• Experience with performance engineering and scalability testing.
• Experience leading technical design sessions and mentoring engineers.
• Familiarity with modernizing legacy applications and migrating workloads to Azure.
