Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Seattle is seeking a full-time .NET Core/MVC Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise web applications. The role emphasizes ASP.NET Core, MVC, and C#, with focus on delivering robust RESTful services and SQL Server optimization.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET, EF/Core, LINQ, and REST APIs. Knowledge of Git/Azure DevOps, Angular, AWS, Docker, and Agile practices will be advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core, MVC, and C#.
• Develop and optimize MS SQL Server database objects, queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, debug and troubleshoot applications, and tune performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and development best practices.
• Support production deployments and resolve application issues as needed.

Salary: $79,000 - 116,000 per year

Requirements:

• Full-time role open to U.S. citizens and Green Card holders, as stated in the posting.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET technologies.
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Entity Framework/Core, LINQ, and REST API development and integration.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Preferred: exposure to AWS; experience with microservices architecture and Docker; knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular; and experience in client-facing, Agile development environments.

The posted pay range is $78,000 - $148,000; compensation within that range depends on factors such as skills, experience, and education, and performance-based bonuses may be available under company policies.
