Job summary

Career Movement is seeking a backend software developer for an in-house role in Downtown Los Angeles. You will design, develop, and maintain internal web apps, services, and APIs, collaborating with analysts to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

The team values structured enterprise IT experience, strong C#/.NET skills, and SQL expertise, with a hybrid work schedule and the ability to commute to Downtown LA.

Qualifications

• Strong C# and .NET skills (full framework and .NET Core).
• ASP.NET experience - MVC and/or Web Forms.
• Solid SQL background (queries, stored procedures, database work).
• Comfort working in a structured, enterprise IT environment.
• Local to the Los Angeles area; must be able to commute to Downtown LA.
• Azure or DevOps exposure is a plus.
• .NET MAUI or Xamarin experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications, service integrations, and back-end APIs that support the day-to-day operations of a global organization.
• Collaborate with project analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, build prototypes, and deliver solutions.
• Documentation and status reporting are part of the job.
