Job Title: .NET Architect

Location: Remote (PST hours)

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a hands-on, senior-level .NET Architect to take full ownership of architectural decision-making, lead global development teams, and scale mission-critical enterprise applications across our client portfolio. This role will manage a distributed team of developers based in India, enforce engineering standards, and drive outcomes through architecture-led execution. Candidates must be experienced in remote delivery and comfortable aligning with Pacific Time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Architecture & Technical Strategy

· Define and own the software architecture for core platforms built on the Microsoft stack (.NET Core, C#, Azure, SQL Server).

· Lead refactoring and modernization of legacy components, enforcing clean architecture principles and performance optimizations.

· Champion design patterns, coding standards, and best practices across distributed teams.

Global Delivery & Team Management

· Manage and mentor an offshore team of .NET developers based in India.

· Oversee sprint planning, code reviews, technical mentorship, and ongoing performance tracking.

· Implement scalable team workflows using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

· Align remote delivery across time zones while ensuring a high-output, low-friction development cycle.

Product & Stakeholder Alignment

· Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, technical deliverables.

· Collaborate on roadmap planning, backlog grooming, and feature prioritization.

· Act as a trusted advisor on technical feasibility, tradeoffs, and innovation opportunities.

· Ensure CI/CD pipelines are optimized, secure, and efficient.

· Work with DevOps teams to manage cloud environments (primarily Azure), including infrastructure cost control and uptime monitoring.

· Oversee technical documentation and architectural knowledge sharing.

· Scalable, stable .NET platforms are delivered on time with high quality and low technical debt.

· The offshore team operates efficiently, meets deadlines, and improves sprint-over-sprint.

· Development velocity, security, and architectural clarity are continuously improving.

Qualifications

· 10+ years of experience building enterprise applications with Microsoft technologies (.NET Core, C#, Azure).

· 3–5+ years managing distributed/offshore development teams (India team experience strongly preferred).

· Strong command of architectural patterns, performance tuning, and secure application design.

· Familiar with cloud-native principles and best practices in Azure infrastructure and DevOps.

· Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

· Excellent communication skills with ability to drive consensus across technical and non-technical teams.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

· Strategic executor who can balance deep technical decisions with business outcomes.

· Experienced team leader comfortable managing remote and offshore teams across time zones.
