Job summary

Ethereum Technologies in Little Rock, AR seeks an experienced IT professional to design, implement and maintain data extraction packages and complex .NET applications within the Budget System. Strong SQL Server skills and experience with MSDTC are essential.

You will develop VB.NET code, Windows services, and disaster recovery plans, and you will mentor state employees on best practices while producing clear infrastructure diagrams and specifications. A BS in CS or IT is required.

Qualifications

• Maintain and develop packages to extract data elements into constructed data layouts.
• Maintain complicated applications supported by Applications Development: Budget System.
• Assist state employees with .Net solutions and mentors on best practices
• Minimum of six (6) years of SQL Server installation, maintenance, and optimization experience
• Good knowledge of MSDTC
• Experience with design and maintenance of TDE Encryption
• Experience using integration services or SSIS packages to import and export data to/from SQL
• Experience developing window services
• Experience designing and testing disaster recovery plans
• Ability to write and review VB.Net code
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience developing detailed technical infrastructure diagrams and specifications
• Education requirement of a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other equivalent education.
