Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced .Net Application Developers to support a government client's HRA/DSS IT systems development, modernization, and maintenance initiatives. The selected candidates will design, develop, enhance, and support web-based applications, databases, and custom solutions across multiple application systems, working with technical teams and business stakeholders in Agile and waterfall environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, .NET Core 3.1, MVC, Web API, WCF, Entity Framework/LINQ), front-end frameworks (Angular 2 through 21, AngularJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON), and relational databases (Oracle 11g/12c/19c and SQL Server with PL/SQL and T-SQL stored procedures). The candidate should have experience with web services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, WSDL), SSIS/SSRS/SSAS ETL and reporting, DevOps practices (Git, Jenkins, Octopus, CI/CD pipelines), Microsoft Azure and AWS, and delivering full-stack solutions in a government or enterprise environment.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement web-based applications using ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, MVC, Web API, and WCF
• Develop front-end components using Angular (2-21)/AngularJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, AJAX, and JSON
• Design and develop Oracle and SQL Server databases: complex queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, constraints, indexes, views, and cursors using PL/SQL, T-SQL, TOAD, PL/SQL Developer, and SSMS
• Design and implement n-tier and 3-tier applications and web services/WCF/API based applications using REST and SOAP
• Develop ETL packages using SSIS and reports using SSRS/SSAS
• Develop single page applications (SPA) with Angular, including reusable components, routing, and state management
• Apply SOA standards including XML, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, JSON, and WCF
• Design web services-based applications, document management systems, Active Directory-based security, workflow systems, and payroll management systems
• Lead in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions
• Prepare technical and user documentation and perform software conversions
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle across Agile and waterfall methodologies; use Git, Jenkins, and Octopus for CI/CD
• Analyze legacy systems and translate business and technical requirements into scalable modern solutions
• Support production systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Work across mainframe, mid-range, PC, and laptop environments as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Application Developer in an IT environment (some assignments require 6 years)
• Strong Microsoft .NET full-stack development background with front and back end processing of web applications
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL Server database development, including performance tuning and execution plan analysis
• Solid understanding of object-oriented concepts, data structures, data manipulation, and n-tier architecture
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus
