Job summary

CFS is seeking a .NET Application Developer to join our Portage-based development team. You will build, enhance, and support internal and customer-facing business applications, focusing on C#/.NET, REST APIs, and integrations with ERP systems like Microsoft Business Central.

The role emphasizes modern architectures, cloud technologies, and AI-driven solutions. Responsibilities include API development, cross-platform work with Flutter, and contributing to CI/CD and automated deployments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#/.NET development and REST API design.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and modern architecture.
• Familiarity with ERP integrations, especially Microsoft Business Central.
• Experience using GitHub for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of AI tools such as Claude, Copilot and ChatGPT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET.
• Build and support cross-platform apps using Flutter.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.

The .NET Application Developer will be joining a development team to help build, enhance, and support internal and customer-facing business applications. This role will focus on developing modern applications, APIs, and system integrations that support core business operations, including Microsoft Business Central and other enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate has experience building applications with C#/.NET, developing REST APIs, and working within a collaborative development environment that utilizes modern architecture, cloud technologies, and AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities Of The .NET Application Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET
• Build and support cross-platform applications using Flutter
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
• Integrate applications with ERP system Microsoft Business Central and other business systems
• Work within a layered architecture framework to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions
• Participate in code reviews, pull requests, and team development best practices
• Utilize GitHub and GitHub Actions to support source control, CI/CD, and automated deployments
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
• Contribute to AI-enabled business solutions and process automation initiativesSupport all phases of the software development lifecycle from design through deployment

Preferred Experience of the .NET Application Developer

• Strong experience with C#/.NET
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Understanding of layered architecture and modern software design principles
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience integrating with Microsoft Business Central (or other ERP systems)
• Experience working with Azure cloud services
• Experience using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines (or similar)
• Effective communication skills
• Experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT

Bonus Experience Of The .NET Application Developer

• Experience building applications with Flutter and Dart for Android, iOS, and Windows platforms
• Experience writing or maintaining WMS systems (warehouse management systems)
