Job Summary/OverviewThe Nest Housekeeper/Environmental Services is responsible for ensuring that all interior and exterior guest areas, dining spaces, and operational back-of-house facilities at The Nest are kept in a safe, pristine, hygienic, and professional condition. Serving our full-service restaurant, compact food container concepts, and outdoor entertainment arenas, and public restrooms this role focuses heavily on high-touch sanitation, venue upkeep, event turnover, and food-service cleanliness.Working closely with the hospitality team, this position ensures seamless transitions between daily dining service, peak meal rushes, and live outdoor arena events with minimal disruption to guests.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following statements describe the principal functions of this position and the scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Dining & Food Service SanitationHigh-Touch Disinfection: Deep clean and sanitize all interior and exterior dining tables, chairs, bar areas, countertops, ordering windows, and high-touch surfaces.Floor Care: Sweep, scrub, mop, and pressure wash indoor dining areas, outdoor patios, food container walkways, and service stations to remove grease, spills, and debris.Waste & Recycling Management: Frequently empty, sanitize, and re-line trash receptacles and recycling bins across all indoor and outdoor venues to prevent pests and overflows.Restroom Maintenance: Continuously inspect, disinfect, clean, and restock all public restrooms throughout operating hours and event schedules.Window & Surface Care: Keep windows, stainless steel surfaces, glass partitions, and seating upholstery clean and smudge-free.Outdoor Entertainment Arena & Event OperationsArena & Event Cleanup: Execute thorough pre-event, mid-event, and post-event grounds cleanup across the outdoor arena, seating areas, lawn spaces, and walkways.Grounds Oversight: Perform routine litter sweeps and exterior maintenance cleaning to keep the arena and outdoor dining grounds inviting and brand-compliant.Safety, Inventory & Maintenance SupportSupply & Inventory Management: Monitor cleaning supply levels, track inventory usage, and submit orders for necessary chemicals, paper goods, and sanitation products.Safety & Hazardous Materials: Safely handle, mix, and store hazardous cleaning chemicals in strict adherence to OSHA rules, SDS protocols, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.Hazard & Damage Reporting: Proactively identify, document, and report facility damages, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to management.Facilities Backup Support: Serve as a backup assistant to Hospitality Maintenance Technicians for basic utility, venue setup, or light maintenance needs.Qualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills)Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in cleaning facilitiesSkills and Knowledge:Must be able to read, write, and understand EnglishMust be proficient in safely handling hazardous materialsCustomer service skills preferredPersonal AttributesSafety MindedHonesty and integrityTeam OrientedOrganizational RelationshipsReports to: Facilities Maintenance SupervisorSupervises: NoneCertifications and LicensesA valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving history is required
