Clearway Pain Solutions in Southern New Jersey is hiring an EMG/NCV Electrodiagnostic Technician for a full-time role with potential part-time flexibility. The position entails conducting EMG/nerve conduction studies, consulting with physicians, preparing reports, and uploading data to the medical record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Vocational or Technical training in Electromyography Technician Training Program preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Perform Nerve Conduction studies to measure muscle and nerve responses.

Responsibilities

• Consult with treating physician about appropriateness of diagnostic studies and interpretation.
• Prepare a summary report of electrophysiological data and upload to the medical record.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; conduct quality control testing.
• Assist with patient preparation for EMG/nerve conduction testing.

Job description

A busy Southern NJ Neurology and Pain Management medical practice is looking to hire an EMG/NCV Electrodiagnostic Technician. The multi-disciplinary practice has been in the same location for over 33 years and has a full team of Physicians, Nurses and Technicians in place. The candidate should have at least 1 year experience working in the position of a Technician and be able to work in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

The position is being offered at full-time but could be flexible with part-time hours for the right candidate. The practice offers competitive salary along with full benefits and a 401k program and generous paid time off.

The technician would be asked to consult with the treating physician about the appropriateness of the diagnostic study, interpretation of the studies, or technical problems. Technician would prepare a summary report of the electrophysiological data and compiles representative original recordings. Uploads EMG/nerve conduction data and reports into the online medical record system.

Technician would be responsible in helping with the proper maintenance and function of the equipment used in the laboratory. Conducts quality control testing of equipment as necessary. Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. Vocational or Technical training in Electromyography Technician Training Program preferred.
