Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) has an opening for an experienced System Reliability and Compliance Engineer/Specialist (NERC). The role centers on developing NERC FAC and PRC studies from protection, substation, and SCADA data, and on supporting audits for internal and external clients.

The position allows work in Austin, Denver, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City with remote or hybrid options for candidates with extensive subject matter experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in electrical power, transmission or generation.
• Experience with NERC compliance related to System Protection and Substation Engineering.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop NERC FAC and PRC studies using design/testing data from protection, substation and SCADA.
• Support audits and track various NERC aspects of projects.
• Answer technical questions and write bid proposals/estimates.
• Support transmission, substation and generation projects under management guidance.
