Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking an experienced System Reliability and Compliance Engineer/Specialist (NERC) to support internal and client NERC compliance needs.

The role focuses on developing FAC and PRC studies using data from system protection, substation, and SCADA. The successful candidate will assist audits, manage and track NERC aspects across projects, and prepare bid proposals and estimates under supervision from the Manager of System Reliability and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical power related fields preferred; Associates considered with experience.
• 5+ years direct experience in electrical power, transmission/substations, or generation.
• Experience in NERC compliance related to System Protection and Substation Engineering.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills; strong organization and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop NERC FAC and PRC studies using design and testing data from protection, system studies, substations, and SCADA.
• Support audits, manage and track NERC aspects of projects.
• Write bid proposals and estimates under supervision from the Manager of System Reliability and Compliance.
• Assist with transmission, substation and generation project activities.
