Job summary

Westinghouse's WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a NERC Compliance Engineer – Substation (onsite) for a 1-year contract. You will be the technical lead for NERC compliance readiness and turnover of substations before COD, implementing PRC and FAC standards in line with PGD programs.

• Experience supporting NERC compliance for substations or generation interconnections.
• Experience with PRC and FAC standards implementation.
• Background in electrical engineering, transmission, substations, or power systems environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead NERC Compliance Program Execution (Pre-COD).
• Validate relay settings, coordination studies, and protection philosophies to ensure PRC compliance.
• Ensure all requirements are incorporated into design, settings, studies, and commissioning documentation before COD.
