Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a Director of NERC CIP Compliance in Colorado to establish and lead the company’s CIP compliance program. You will own governance, standards interpretation, evidence management, and audit readiness while coordinating with Cyber Security, IT, OT, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams.

The role requires guiding a defensible, repeatable compliance posture and serving as the subject matter expert on NERC CIP requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years leading or supporting NERC CIP programs in power generation or critical infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating compliance activities across IT, OT, Engineering, and Operations.
• Familiarity with evidence management, internal controls testing, and audit readiness practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead end-to-end NERC CIP compliance program, interpreting CIP standards.
• Define and manage evidence management framework and remediation tracking.
• Prepare for audits, coordinate with auditors, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with OT, Cyber Security, IT, Legal, and Compliance to align controls with governance.
• Develop metrics and reporting on compliance status, risks, and remediation progress.
