Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5–10 years in regulatory compliance or industrial cybersecurity.
  • At least 5 years implementing NERC CIP compliance across medium/high-impact assets.
  • Experience drafting RSAWs, preparing ERT responses, and managing RFIs during audits.
  • Deep knowledge of CIP-007/010 patch lifecycle and CIP-005/006 security perimeters.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and work on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Build, optimize, and maintain on-site CIP compliance processes.
  • Maintain cyber asset inventories and baseline change control workflows.
  • Lead RSAW/ERT preparation for audit leadership and investigations.
  • Maintain compliant physical and electronic security perimeters and access controls.
  • Execute daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual CIP compliance activities.
  • Coordinate RFIs and remediation with cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver and support CIP cybersecurity training programs for site personnel.
  • Direct the end-to-end patch management lifecycle for BES Cyber Assets.
  • Lead incident response drills and documentation for CIP-008 and CIP-009.
  • Oversee CVAs and secure handling of BES information (BCSI).
  • Lead supply chain risk assessments and enforce cybersecurity contracts.
  • Conduct internal compliance self-assessments and mitigation.
