Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care across specialty clinics with prescriptive authority. The role supports Nephrology, Palliative Care, Cardiology, Endocrinology and other services under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate is a PA with 1+ year of clinical experience, licensed in Texas, and capable of working in a fast-paced hospital setting. BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.

• EXPERIENCE - 1+ Years of Experience

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and mental condition; perform comprehensive exams and collect histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate labs and diagnostics to guide care decisions.
• Prescribe medications and treatments; follow protocols for efficacy, safety, and cost.
• Develop and implement care plans with physicians and team members.
• Counsel patients and families on treatments, medications, nutrition, and health promotion.
