Job summary

FMOL Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide nursing medical care for high acuity patients in collaboration with a physician. The role involves direct patient care, pre-surgical visits, discharge teaching, and prescribing medications within medical protocols.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care with physicians, assist with consults, coordinate with clinicians on rounds, and monitor diagnostic tests to adjust therapeutic regimens.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license and Advanced Practice License required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (ACLS; RN; BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing medical care for high acuity patients in collaboration with a physician.
• Perform histories and physicals, admits and discharges, and coordinate care with physicians.
• Visit patients pre-surgery, conduct discharge teaching, and prescribe medications.
• Coordinate with consulting physicians, order/perform diagnostic tests, and evaluate therapeutic regimens.
