Job summary

NP Now, LLC seeks a Fellowship‑trained and board‑certified nephrologist to join a growing outpatient nephrology program in the Lake Norman region just north of Charlotte. You will collaborate with four in‑house nephrologists to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care for patients with CKD and renal failure.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and coordination of in‑center and home dialysis services, using Cerner EMR to optimize patient experiences and outcomes.

Qualifications

• NC medical license and DEA registration.
• Board certified.
• Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities.
• Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating to ensure positive, effective patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Fellowship-trained and board-certified nephrologist with experience in CKD and renal failure.
• Experience in in-house and home dialysis including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
• Help grow a new outpatient nephrology program within a multi-site health system.
• Work with Cerner EMR to coordinate patient care.

Role Description

Fellowship‑trained and board‑certified Nephrologist with experience in chronic kidney disease, renal failure, in‑house and home dialysis—including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CVVHD, CVVHDF, plasmapheresis, and leukapheresis. The hospital has four in‑house nephrologists and is looking to begin growing a new outpatient Nephrology program. This health system has successfully implemented three specialty service lines over the last five years (ENT, General Surgery, and Urology) and aims to do the same for Nephrology. EMR: Cerner.
