Nephrologist

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full time Nephrologist.We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.

Ideal candidate will participate in clinical research, a busy nephrology clinic and consultation services, provide direct clinical care in the in-patient and outpatient settings for patients under the care of the Department of Medicine’s Nephrology Service, as well as participate in the teaching of fellows, residents and medical students.

Candidates must have a MD degree and be board certified/board eligible in Nephrology with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. We also offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package. Compensation ranges from $225,000 to $250k, annualized including faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year. There is additional CME money, a generous retirement plan and opportunity for sessional work.
