Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Environmental Planner Project Manager to lead NEPA projects on Federally-owned lands. You will manage schedules, budgets, and teams, deliver quality environmental documents, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders from multiple disciplines.

The role reports to the Solana Beach, CA office with eligibility for remote hybrid work. A minimum of five years in NEPA project management and a related degree are required, with potential for growth into senior

Qualifications

• 5 years of project management experience with NEPA projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, geology, chemistry, or related field.
• Strong technical writing, analytical and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead NEPA projects on Federally-owned lands, manage schedule and budget, provide team leadership and QA.
• Prepare and review NEPA documents, environmental impact statements, and related mitigation plans.
• Mentor junior environmental planners and oversee client interactions and task management.
• Manage project team, subconsultants, contracts, and deliverables across office and field locations.
• Report to Solana Beach, CA with potential for remote hybrid work.
